Roberts Engineering Philosophy
or Engineers are like artists
I want to fill this page someday!!!!
As philosophy's go I guess all engineers should have one. I want to tell you what you need to to become and maintain your desirability as an engineer. This process, and it is a process, to become an engineer is continuing and difficult. The rewards are high and if you think at all like the person in high school who was the nerd , than you too can become an engineer.
The main theme describing engineering is that is requires schooling and lots of it. It requires a certain passion for technology that can never be quenched. All the while your thoughts are focused to finishing that big test called your degree. After that one major turning point you are faced with he challenges of day to day work life. These challenges will take you down paths you were not planning for. But you make the best of the decisions you made and try to make a contribution somewhere, sometime where you feel good about your contribution. This contribution to society should be one of conscientious strength. You should work towards the goals you set up for your professional career, with a purposeful heart. Your path of an engineer will be challenging but rewarding.
So why are engineers like artists?? You might think you know but I will tell you what makes you a creator like unto an artist!
